Pew Research Center - Technology Selection

Quoin led an effort for the Pew Research Center on requirements analysis and technology selection of a CRM system. Our principal consultant conducted stakeholder interviews, defined a structured requirement list, evaluated candidate open source and SaaS applications, and presented our recommendation to executive leadership.

As a recognized provider of independent studies and analysis, the Pew Research Center (PRC) had a broad range of end-user and organizational requirements for a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Furthermore, the organization had an existing system and vendor that had not adequately supported its needs. Our principal consultant collaborated with the stakeholders to identify high-level requirements, scope, and objectives for the system. We provided technical expertise, and evaluated potential products, including CiviCRM, Netsuite, and Salesforce. We applied a disciplined approach to defining, structuring, weighting, and scoring the requirements that helped to focus divergent perspectives. Our recommendation to PRC executives helped to rapidly identify an optimal and well-grounded solution for the organization.
