At nearly 100 years old, Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) is among the largest water and wastewater utilities in the nation, serving 1.8 million residents through approximately 460,000 customer accounts. WSSC turned to Quoin to build a new website and CMS to serve as its primary channel for customer service. Our project team implemented a robust system to support high-availability and integration with WebSphere and Oracle. The system supports standard CMS functions, as well as user registration and Single Sign-on (SSO). Additionally, our team integrated support for a range of other applications to be hosted on the platform, presenting a unified experience for the end user. These applications include customer self-service & bill pay, a portal for obtaining various sanitation permits, and other functions.
