Matt Samsonoff is a partner and the Director of Architecture & Tools at Quoin. An exceptional software engineer, architect, and technical lead, Matt has more than twenty years of experience delivering high-quality results on aggressive deadlines.
An evangelist for agile and test-driven development methods, Matt is committed to the use of continuous integration tools and practices in a range of applications. He is a successful project lead with outstanding communication and collaboration skills, adept at engaging both business stakeholders and technical staff.
In his current role, Matt advises on the most effective architecture and tools for client delivery projects. He also consults and coaches organizations on security enhancement, data architecture for enhanced stability and performance, and a range of development processes and tools including Agile/Scrum. His responsibilities therefore bridge development, deployment, and production to support Quoin infrastructure. Before joining our staff in 2006, Matt was an engineer at a global technology firm, as well as a co-founder of a company specializing in open source software.
Matt has a broad interest in software, hardware, and fabrication, and is often engaged by hands-on side projects. He made his early reputation at Quoin by assembling an ‘Easy’ button to control web application deployments.
